You wake up every morning to fight the same demons that left you so tired the night before, and that, my love, is bravery.”-11:17pm, 1/14/15

WEEKEND FESTIVAL
Helsinki, Finland

I developed completely unexpected feeling towards this city. I was just stopping by instead of Wien, I thought it's cheaper and handy to swing by - it wasn't actually even really in my original plan.

I'm happy I went. I'm so so incredibly happy I went. These few pictures are just from my daily wonderings, but most of the time I was too busy to capture anything. In my memories Bratislava was a lot of Balkan music and dancing in a hostel that was more like a cool friend's house; the hostel's staircase that was actually also a smoking area where everybody ended up gathering anyway in the end of the night, or morning; a lot of red wine, big dinners, Borovička I ended up drinking with some slovak people - who, by the way, beat Finnish people in drinking hands down - communist songs, monkey suits, weird outfits and a lot of talk about life. Lovely people and lovely times.

I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because they was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together. ―Lisa Kleypas
